About City Shoe Repair

City Shoe Repair has been a trusted establishment for a long time, known for their high-quality work. They specialize in various repairs, such as sewing patches on coats and vests, stretching boots for a better fit, and fixing heel taps. In emergency situations, they provide quick and efficient service, as demonstrated by a customer who received heel tap repairs right before a wedding celebration. Their stiletto heel repair may not always meet expectations, but it remains a more affordable option than replacing the shoes. However, they could improve their communication by notifying customers when repairs are completed, as one customer had to call to check on their order a month later. Despite this, City Shoe Repair has shown dedication to serving their customers, including accommodating special needs like adjusting braces. Overall, City Shoe Repair is a reliable and skilled business that values their customers.

I was traveling and was on our way to a wedding celebration when I noticed the heel taps had fallen off my heels! I called City Shoe Repair and told the gentleman my dilemma. He said to come by and he would fix them for me. My husband drove me there, and true to his word his fixed them while I waited…then we were on our way with my shoes repaired for the reception. I was most pleased!!!

Did a good job on my stiletto heel repair where the leather was ripping up from stepping into concrete slits. Not as good as I had hoped and what I had seen on the internet but better to pay $42 repair than $175 to replace the shoes. Only big complaint is they told me it would be 2 weeks to repair. A month later I called to check and they say they’re ready. Why no call to tell me when they were ready? But at the same token…my Son wears braces and I took them there in the past and needed them adjusted and they were able to do that for his special needs so for that it makes up for it to me.
