WNC Family Medical Center offers a wonderful new patient experience, with doctors who take the time to answer questions and ensure patients understand their health issues. Dr. Faust and Dr. Sim are both described as wonderful and thorough, asking pertinent questions and giving attentive exams. They are knowledgeable and in line with patients' health goals, aiming to stay off prescriptions when possible. The office staff is also noted as being wonderful. PCP Todd Neal is highly recommended for his skills, abilities, and compassionate care. Patients feel confident in his care and appreciated for their input.
I have been a patient of WNC Family Medical Center for many years. Recently our cat, Hedy Lamarr, bit me on the back of my right hand one night. By morning my hand was badly swollen with my fingers almost gnarled in a fist. I made an appointment to see Ginger Davis, FNP, since my doctor Larry J. Russell was not available. Ginger immediately prescribed two antibiotics. Over the next several weeks I saw Ginger four times and received excellent care. She was terrific and very helpful. What a wonderful new patient experience. Dr Faust spent the time to answer all my questions, and helped me to really understand my test results and my health issues. (I'm one of those people that wants to understand everything ;-) ) The office staff is also wonderful.
