Dr. Christina Choe was exact and efficient!!! WOW. However, and I mean, HOWEVER, expect those old standards of excessive and brutally excruciating, 1-2 hour waits. Even requesting the first appointment of the day (8:30 a.m.) I discovered that Dr. Choe's nanny doesn't arrive at her home until 9 a.m. and she arrives at the office around 9:30 a.m. Additionally, the first appointment ended up being the 4th or 5th as other patients were seen before me in spite of me being there first thing in the morning. If anyone feels a bit claustrophobic, beware, as the times in those small, closed off rooms can about send one in orbit. Oh, and make sure that you specifically ask about any booked appointment. I arrived on time in my city to discover that it was booked in Asheville, without anyone informing me!

Dr Choe and her staff were very patient, professional, examined my eyes, explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. I was impressed and finally decided on the surgery. The procedure went smoothly with Dr. Choe explaining what to expect at each step throughout the procedure. Afterwards, she gave me complete instructions on how to take care of my eyes. I had some pain the first day (not too bad) and took a pain pill when I got home, and that was it. Unbelievably, I had no pain, a little discomfort from swelling but no pain after that. My stitches came out in a little less than a week. On my month followup appointment with Dr. Choe, I had healed nicely. Several friends who did not know I had the surgery commented on how refreshed I looked. No one knew I had the surgery. I now feel so much better about my appearance, I have better peripheral vision in both eyes and as a bonus, I enjoy putting makeup on my eyes, they look so much bigger and brighter. I could not be more pleased. I shopped for a long time to find the right doctor to perform this procedure. Truly, the only regret I have is that I did not have this surgery sooner.
