First time at this facility, nurses and providers were awesome! The register staff were not so much friendly and their customer service needs much more training. Kind of on the rude side, they are the 1st point of contact with patients so they could/SHOULD be a lot more friendly. Don’t be rude to people as they walk in the door. The nurses/Doctors make up the difference in their rudeness as they were AWESOME towards me.Management needs to work in retraining the 1st point of contact to make this facility a MORE awesome place to receive care! We had our first visit at Vidant Neurosurgery today with Dr. Knudson for my 5 year old son with neck pain. We were very grateful to have received an appointment that was scheduled quickly. From check-in to check-out, everyone was so pleasant and caring. Before I could even fill out the front of our new patent paperwork we were called back. We were taken for X-rays and the technicians were welcoming and friendly. A caring PA student met with us first followed by Dr. Knudson, who helped me understand the problem, management and follow up. The exam room was also great with a chalkboard “room” that my son loved. Thank you for your compassion and taking great care of us.
