Very poor experience. Unfortunately, all the staff in customer service including the Lead Aaron and the front end "coach" Katie not to mention the Manager would not even speak to me. I had to wait 45 minutes to be told you cannot return a book. This is after being told to take it to another store to return it. Outrageously rude and unprofessional!!!!! My hard earned money will be more appreciated elsewhere.
walmart...the only reason" i gave this location 1 star, was because i was forced to rate them! i am a former employee/overnight manager of walmart in virginia, who disapproves of the behavior i have witnessed. i wouldn't even recommend my family, friends etc. to come here to shop! my family and i had to get some well needed items at night, with me being a mother you know kids could distract you while your shopping. my family and i had a cart of stuff and was making our way to the front for check out, a patrol security guy walked up to us looking crazy, saying the store was closed and yall need to leave now! in a nasty/rude voice! first of all why was he talking to us like that? it made us feel uncomfortable and like we did something wrong, he told us they made an announcement? they didn't make an announcement on the intercom that they were closing. my family and i are not even from this state, this was our first night here. we were very polite even after the security officer harassed our children! the officer then began to follow us out the door. i understand that he was doing his job, but he was very extra and rude! what made it worse!! after we left out the walmart, we saw him and another security officer laughing about the situation and "dapping" each other up?? come on walmart! is this what we doing? i will take my hard earned money elsewhere! no thank you!
Was in Walmart in Wendover on Friday May 5th around 10pm. Picked up things that were needed as we had recently moved. Got in line at 10:50 as all self checkouts were already closed and roped off. Had 2 regular lines side by side open. So the line was wrapped around. After being in line (and giving distance as I had 2 tiki torches that looked like javelins sticking out of the cart).As security guard approached and said "she's not going to ring you up it's after 11." I said we've been in line the whole time as the cashier / manger person was yelling no you were not you were walking up .. The lady in front of me even said no she was in line. The whole time the security guard was saying what do you want me to do . As manager kept replying I don't care I'm not ringing them up. And of course so arguing went back and forth. I wasn't leaving the line as I know I was there. People behind me even went and got in the line beside of me and had no issue. I HAD $600 WoRTH of items and the manger REFUSED!! I have never witnessed such unprofessional behavior in my life. The way the manger handled all this was ridiculous!! Yelling , eye rolling , mumbling under her voice and just sheer attitude..When people in both lines were even sticking up for strangers and telling this lady in charge that we were right and she was not .... But to let over $600 of business walk out the door is ridiculous---all because she was too lazy to help us.
