I had my LASIK operation back in March of 2020 just prior to COVID and, even going on 5 years later, it was one of the best decisions I've made.
I paid $4k at the time for both eyes and looking back now it's amazing how such a massive increase in quality of life can be so relatively cheap. From a prescription of -6 bilaterally to now being 20/10 in my left eye and 20/15 in my right eye all without having to worry about keeping up with glasses or the constant purchasing of contact lenses. I can't recommend Dr. Stonecipher enough.
Now stop reading reviews and go schedule a consultation.
I came here for a LASIK consultation with very little research. I was very happy to hear that Dr Stonecipher teaches classes all over the world, and I have met multiple people including my optometrist who had LASIK done by him. I couldn’t be happier with my results after my surgery. I have 20/15 vision now! I was very nervous about the whole thing but the staff was very kind and patient with me. The day of surgery was very quick which was good because it didn’t give me time to stress. I had a wonderful experience with the office!
Pros: Surgery went well; I see 20/20.Cons: The 1-week and 1-month post-op appointments are virtual/phone calls that consist of one question: “How are your eyes?” My regular eye doctor was shocked by the lack of post-op care but also pleased with the final results.TLC/Dr. Stonecipher came highly recommended, and I don’t regret my decision, but I would have appreciated better communication and post-op care. For transparency, I had the $1,000 off special, and paid ~$4,000.
