Booked with Abby for medium knotless braids in February. She did a great job and took about three hours. They were smaller than I expected, but I didn’t mind that at all. I liked them small! Price was good too. Just took them out two months later! Definitely will be back!

I will never be returning to this African braiding location my appointment was at 2;30pm all I wanted was a feedin ponytail and when I got there she told me someone else was doing my hair I said ok cool she told the lady she had to do it because she wasn’t feeling well I respected it but at the same time if THE OTHER LADY DIDNT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING WHYYYY TELL HER TO PLAY IN MY HEAD! I was better off getting my neice to do it if that was the case…. Not only that the lady had to start over atleast 3 times , not only that the lady kept. Telling her she dk how to do it or whatever the case was because I was not looking the outcome 180$ she tells the head lady well she wants you to do her hair just like everybody else “ they don’t like me to do it” the main lady was looking like nooo your going to do it, like she’s forcing her to do something she dk how to do , so I finally told her yeah. Idont like it 3 hours passed and she’s STILL ON THE FRONT!!!!!! Struggling so i told her idont like it ima just leave so she told me to call the main lady my phone was dead they did not have a charger and i was about to walk out …. So the main lady came and said what’s wrong why you don’t like it so I was telling her and she started smirking saying I like it I really like it “ smirking” only because she KNEW the other lady can’t braid so 4 hours passed and they still on the front she ( main lady) starts taking my hair out and redoing my hair I didn’t get home until 8:30 9 o clock and still had to pay 180$ I should’ve just walked out the very first time

Abby is very rude and unprofessional! I will never go back to this salon. I went to get my hair refreshed, I had cornrows with a middle part and I just wanted the top redone. I told her my braids were far apart and not close together like the first time she did them, she got offended and was very ugly to me. I wasn't rude to her at all. I sent her a picture of the first time she did it and now and she told me I had new growth thats why it was close together the first time, which was a lie. She charged me 70 dollars to refresh 16 braids , which was ridiculous! She gave me 20 back after I told her my braids were too spaced. If Im paying my money it should be done the way I want it. I was told to come at 3:30, when I got there I waited an hour and ten minutes before she even started on me, she was braiding someone else hair. It was just a bad experience! If you want professionalism this is definitely not the salon to go to.

The first time I contacted Abby to get my hair braided was on Google through chat she responded quickly and I set an appointment. I didn’t know the location was a house so I was ringing the front doorbell for awhile before I called her and she told me to go to the side door she has a salon in her garage. She braided my hair pretty fast the only thing I didn’t like is that my braids were a little smaller than I’d wanted. Two weeks later my daughter went and got her hair braided everything was good. I referred my friend to get her hair braided and me and her had an appointment today. My friend went in at 9:30AM and just left at 7:00PM. She said her braids are too small Abby kept taking breaks and didn’t use the correct hair on her braids. She never contacted me to reschedule my appointment. If it wasn’t my friend whose hair she was doing I would have went to get my hair done and been sitting and waiting all night. I texted her numerous times to see if I could reschedule and all she replied was yes and never responded again after all the business I have referred. I will never book her again and neither will my friend.

I love coming here I always get compliments on my braids this is my second set of knotless braids and they are itttt!!!

I got small butt length knotless box braids and they are so beautiful. I’m not from NC and was nervous and she gave me the best braids I’ve had in my entire life. I won’t go anywhere else. She also did it very quickly with a partner and they were both very nice. Thank you Abby!!!!

I waited roughly a hour to get serviced after calling so that was a little off putting. The ladies in the shop were nice but the person doing my hair stopped a total of three times for very extended periods of time without saying anything(20–30 minute intervals) which I did not like. I was told at one point that she had left to get her daughter from school which I would have been fine with had that been communicated to me. I paid $260 for small knotless braids and they’re not the greatest quality in terms of parts and flatness. My middle part is not centered at all. It’s been a month and I’m convinced that some of them were installed improperly which makes them painful to have up for extended periods of time. They also did not have the color #4 (brown) so I had to get #1 (black) which they said matched but I’m not new to braids so I knew once it grew out it would look badly. Had that been related to me I definitely would have provided my own braiding hair/went to get it during my wait. I don’t think I’ll be returning, be the ladies were generally friendly.

response to the owner: as a business PROFESSIONAL your response was very distasteful but I can’t say I’m surprised. I went through text messages and found a photo from my appointment back in October that I sent to a few people during one of your break periods— hopefully that helps to jog your memory because I have nothing to lie about at all. Part of having a business is learning to accept feedback. Work on that.

Great service, fast and reliable. Love my hair last over 3 months for school wish I didn’t have to take it out.
