I have never been one to write a review but I feel my experience needs one. I went yesterday after work because my throat was sore and I felt I had strep. I have severe throw up anxiety and the strep test is a huge trigger for panic attacks. I was seen by mortricia as my nurse and when I told her this and told her what has happened when I have had to get this test done she proceeded to laugh at me. Not in an omg that’s horrible laugh, it was that is so funny I am making fun of you laugh. I had a surgery on my esophagus 3 months ago. When the doctor came in instead of doing a test she proceeded to say my pain was from the surgery. Curious how a runny nose, cough, and sore throat is from a surgery I had months ago. She sent me away without giving me any test and told me to get in contact with my surgeon. I went to another urgent care right after for them to tell me I have strep without even having to do the test. This place was HIGHLY unprofessional and will not be returning.

I tore my ACL. I have all Novant MDs so i decided to come here. In extreme pain with my 13yr old son assisting me to walk. The receptionist asked if I had an appointment. I stated that I didnt break not have one. I arrived at 11:30am she stated that everyone is on break and she could schedule me for 2pm, I told her I couldn’t wait that long, she told me to go to Cone on drawbridge. I’ve never been turned away from care. Whats the point of having an urgent care when the facility closes for lunch breaks and you have to make an appointment. I do not recommend this facility for treatment

If I could give zero stars, I would. The doctor was extremely rude and condescending. I came in presenting with chest paints. The doctor did an EKG and stated numerous times how “unreliable” the equipment was. If the equipment is unreliable, why is this place even open? The doctor was miserable and complained about the resources at the facility multiple times. When I asked Novant for a refund for my $100 visit (since it was obviously pointless), I received a notification letter that contained several inaccuracies of my visit making it seem that they didn't even review my case. The letter stated that they found the care was appropriate. How is appropriate when machines don’t work and give inaccurate test results?! Based on the results, it was recommended that I go to the ER. After hours in the ER and thousands of dollars spent, it was determined that everything was fine. I would have never gone to the ER if the EKG machine was reliable and gave me the correct results. I am extremely unhappy with the service I received at Urgent Care and by the Risk Management Department that deemed this service appropriate.

I had a great experience at Novant Urgent Care. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive. The check-in process was smooth, and were seen in a timely manner, which I truly appreciated. The medical team took their time, listened carefully, and made sure all of my concerns were addressed. I never felt rushed, and the level of care and compassion really stood out. Thank you to the entire team for providing such excellent service. It made a stressful situation much easier, and I’m very grateful. I would definitely recommend Novant Urgent Care to others!
Experience here was relatively quick and focused on the matter at hand. The front nursing staff were pleasant and quick with registration. The wait time was average, really were not alot of patients on this particular day. Dr. Brown was quick and thorough in her care and explanations after seeing my son and myself. Facility is well kept as well. 👌🏽

Amazing women working here who truly care. Mortricia was so kind and helpful and didn’t make me feel judged at all. I didn’t catch the provider’s name but you can tell that everyone here takes their job seriously and really sympathizes when you’re in pain. It was so refreshing to be treated like a human. Facility was very clean and I was seen right away. You can check in online so that is really helpful. In the event that you need care, choose this location.
