I had my first appointment at Jade at Friendly today and had a terrific experience. I arrived with a hair style that was a hot mess because I had been chopping on it for months, and left with a beautiful and professional style. Brandi was outstanding and gave me the cut I needed and wanted. I will definitely be returning to her!

I've had many good haircuts here, but the last stylist really just didn't have enough training or practice. She wasn't able to complete the cut evenly and needed to call over a more experienced stylist to help her even things out. I respect that she sought that advice, but I feel that my hair is still a little ragged and it is definitely shorter than I asked for. All staff members kept a professional attitude, but be aware that stylists in the "lowest tier" may not have as much experience as you might hope, even though you still pay $50 for their services!Update: The salon manager reached out by phone after replying to my original review. I'm leaving a five star review because the people are amazing. The service is friendly warm and welcoming, and the quality of the cuts are always exceptional.HOWEVER, when I first started to get my hair cut here 9 or 10 years ago, I had no grey hair whatsoever. Currently, I have a LOT of grey hair. So I can only assume that this salon has made me go grey.I do not want to tarnish their excellent reputation with this strikingly concerning issue.
