Been here almost 4 months now. So far it's decent, definitely not bad at all. It's an Easy system to pick up over here, especially if you're experienced. Home time is fantastic over here, they'll definitely get you home if need be. Pay is decent. I come out pretty well weekly and I'm able to take care of my family and everything at home off what I make. Routes are pretty good, there's a good balance of drop n hook/ live loads. I really like the time they give you to make loads, so sometimes when I'm tired from running hard, I have time to sleep a little longer if needed. Miles are great, I average about 2500-2700 a week. Epes Transport is a GREAT ! ..company overall. I have been with company for three years, which two of those years I have driven for on the IC side. There 100% guaranteed to get you home policy has been met every week. The only CON is that they may not be able to keep you moving consistently. Again there not just a great company ,but there GREA PEOPLE!

It was the first company I ever joined and it was ok for a new driver. You have to do a certain amount of miles or they will get on you…just because it says home weekly don’t mean your home every Friday. I’ve done short haul….otr…and local. Each have pros a con. Pay is the overall con because why put your life on the line for less than 1k a week and the only way to make over 1k is staying out and when your truck is governed at 67mph ain’t much you can do. Epes was bought out by Penske so it’s no longer Epes. If you don’t have that many bills or your retired this is a place for you
