I could not get my gas fireplace to work at the most in opportune with the impending snow storm to hit the Triad area this weekend. I need it to keep me warm in case I lose electricity. I called all over Greensboro to have my fireplace serviced to no avail. I contacted Edward and Mills and they asked me to send them photos of my fireplace. Well, George texted me back with what I had to do to get my fireplace operable. No appointment necessary. Apparently, I just didn’t know how to light it and George from Edward and Mills taught me how to do it ahead of the storm. Thank you!

Beware Recently asked to fix a leaking outdoor faucet and inspect and give price on repairing a leak on the other unit of a duplex apartment. Reported that the one unit had major problems and would need extensive repairs. Never repaired the faucet, failed to give estimate of repair of other unit. Sent bill for $448.35 claimed he had two employees at the site for 2 hours, zero parts due to the fact they didn't repair anything.

We had this company come and take care of a shower problem that they told us required recaulking the whole shower floor about 10 months ago. They ignored one of the four corners of the shower floor in the caulking job, and when they came back to fix it at our insistence, they did such a poor job it has been cracking and peeling ever since because it was not properly done in the first place and they just patched over it. They tried to charge us for the second trip to complete the caulking of a few inches they decided to skip, but my husband insisted this was not fair. Because it was done like this, the work will have to be redone less than a year later.
Their prices are high, especially when the work is not going to last.
