Emily has been cutting and coloring my hair for the past few years. She took my hair from extremely fried and green from a botch job at another salon to healthy hair with lots of dimension and natural tones of gold and light brown. She is very easy to work with, fun to talk to, honest, and always makes me feel beautiful. I would hire her again in a heartbeat but unfortunately we moved away. She is talented with natural looking haircuts that frame your face, highlights and balayage, and blowouts. I can’t recommend her enough!

I had my child 's hair trimmed at Great clips and I was not happy with it at all. It was crooked and not good. It was past 6:00 p.m. I was panicking to find a place to fix her hair. I called the house of styles and was told they leave after their last client at 6:00 p.m. The person there agreed to wait and see us when we got there. Brett still had a customer but he was and patient with us. He looked at her hair and said that it definitely not right. And proceeded to fix it. He washed her hair of the stuff that was sprayed in it at Great clips and trimmed her hair perfectly. He took the time to fix her bangs and make her happy. He had a client but made time for her and fixed her hair beautifully. I am grateful for kind, beautiful people like him definitely will make this place our new hair salon. I highly recommend this place and Bret thank you so much. House of styles is definitely a place to go.

Thank you so much to David and Zach for helping to resolve a 4 month long fly problem in a spare bathroom. After paying $300 to have a toilet professionally installed (I won't name who) I started noticing one or two tiny flies over the course of a month. Didn't think much of it. I actually thought they were a fruit fly or a gnat. I started noticing a lot more over a period of a month. Purchased several Zevo's and put them throughout the house. Meanwhile I was investigating where they might be coming in from. After doing some research I discovered they could be drain flies so I started covering up my drains on my tub and sink along with the overflows and treating them with Bio Drain. After 3 weeks and still seeing these pesky flies, I knew they were coming in from another source. After a process of elimination the only thing that had been done recently to that bathroom was the new toilet installed.
I called on a Friday and spoke to Brenna and told her the issue I was having and she immediately got me in that afternoon. David and Zach came at 4pm. They pulled up the toilet and lo and behold that was the source of my problem. They immediately tackled and fixed the issue that was causing the breach to allow the flies to come under the toilet. What I appreciated more about these two gentlemen was they wanted to find the issue ASAP. Here it was 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon and they could have said they would be back on Monday, but no they wanted to fix the problem right then. I have spent quite a bit of money, time and frustration trying to combat this problem when it was a previous plumbers failure to secure a flange properly. I will definitely be requesting these two gentlemen in the future for all my plumbing needs. Thank you again, David and Zack

This company is outstanding. While visiting New Orleans a few years ago, I visited the Chalmette National Cemetery. It's a small cemetery, a single road in, and out, after the monument turn-around.I was over-joyed seeing surveying transits, plumb bobs, taut string lines, shovels and a group of men who were in the process of carefully, meticulously and pain-stakingly elevating, cleaning and realigning old veteran gravestones.WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT.They had only completed about 1/2 of the cemetery, but the difference really was magnificent between what they had to start with, and the dedication they put into restoring the pride of the final resting places of our brave veterans.

My specialist, Emily, was pretty good. She was respectful, kind, and worked my muscles during the deep tissue massage. If the rating was solely for her, it'd be 5 stars. However, their reservation system could use some work as you cannot get refunds when booking online, which is an inconvenience for someone who's passing through and not a resident. They also have their male specialist work in an open area and his clientele are clothed for their deep tissue massage, which is mentioned at the bottom of the description online, if you read it. While I understand their reasoning for it, I think they should practice keeping a room open for clients who prefer privacy and the ability to remove their clothing to their comfort level for a deep tissue massage with him. Outside of these occurrences, the staff was very kind and friendly.

Just picked up my precious puppy today after boarding him for 8 days. They treated him with excellent care and treated him with medication when he had a tummy issue. They were in touch with me and assured me he was well taken care of. These guys are exceptional!
This office has helped my family care for three different pets over a period of 20(+) years. They've also helped us say goodbye to all three of them. I have always received nothing less than experienced professionalism, from the front of the office to the back. I've had to hear some hard truths over the years, but always with great compassion - As if my pets were as dear to them as they were to me. That's important to me. The most calming and reassuring thing I have ever heard a veterinarian say is, "If this was my dog/cat, I would start here (a tx option)." I have never thought to myself they were after my money. I could trust they would start with conservative treatment, rule out the small stuff, and tell me what I needed to hear in a way I could understand, without judgement. I was given tx options that ran the gamut from ideal, textbook options, to the most economically practical treatment options.
This office flourishes because they do good work. Oftentimes, the bigger the office gets, the less personal and professional the service becomes. That has not been the case with Berkeley Veterinary Clinic. I don't ever want to own a pet without them by my side, caring as much for its well-being as I do.
