Specialists provide ankle injury treatment services for fractures and sprains, ranging from minimal to serious condition, as well as Achilles tendon injury treatment for tears and ruptures. With four locations in Raleigh, Cary, Garner and Knightdale, the team also treats fungal infections, ingrown toenails, and bunions. Reviews highlight thorough examinations and solved problems that other podiatrists had not addressed. Dr Niemi and his staff at Carolina Foot and Ankle are phenomenal. After suffering with plantar fasciitis of my right and left foot for over ten years and also following with other podiatrist that provided no long-term relief in symptoms, Dr. Niemi gave me my quality of life back. The plantar fasciitis release surgery that Dr. Neimi did on my left and right foot have completely changed my life. Without his skilled expertise I would still be suffering with pain and physical limitations. Also, my mom had plantar fascia release by Dr. Neimi 11 years ago and she continues to have no issues with her feet since surgery with Dr Neimi. Highly recommend Dr. Neimi and his staff!
I had an appointment with Dr Pierson on Thursday, January 8, 2026. I had a leg wound on my right leg. I did not think it was too bad but Dr Pierson immediately said I need to go to a wound doctor. She told me she was going to refer me and they were call me to set up an appointment. It is 8 days later and I have not received any communication from either Dr Pierson nor a wound Dr. i would like to know what happened.
I saw Dr. Kaleigh Pierson today and she was awesome. She was so thorough with her examination. Answered all of my questions. Her tech was so nice as was the receptionist..I cannot say enough about the experience. If you are looking for a podiatrist - you need to stop here. You will not be sorry I promise.
