About Harris Pain Center
The Harris Pain Center is an expansion of pain services for Harris Regional Hospital and Swain Community Hospital, which has operated the Swain Pain Center in Bryson City for more than a decade. The center cares for a number of chronic conditions, such as neck and back pain, headaches and migraines, fibromyalgia, cancer pain, diabetic and joint pain, arthritis, neuropathic pain, sciatica and injuries sustained at work. The Harris Pain Center offers an extensive approach to care including medication management, interventional procedures, pain pump and spinal cord stimulator implant and management, and psychological support. Patients have praised the exceptional care provided by the team, who they describe as phenomenal, very concerned about their well-being, and treating them with the utmost respect.
The ED staff took such good care of my little one last night. She was seen fast and kept for additional monitoring due to her stubborn fever. Thank you so much for getting my little one back so fast and getting her taken care of.
Post Dr. Hatfield at Harris Women's OB/GYN, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your exceptional work. On July 11th, 2025, I underwent an emergency c-section, my first ever, and Dr. Hatfield did an outstanding job. Almost three months postpartum, the incision site is barely noticeable, and while the initial healing process was challenging, I recovered quickly.
