“I’VE BEEN AWOKEN!!! ? Seriously though, I went to Awaken Hair Design and got my hair cut today. Idk about you but I always get REALLY nervous when going to get my hair cut.. Just because I don’t know the person cutting it.. They don’t really know me and how I wear it.. Most times I feel rushed at a salon?.. BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL HERE!!! I had my hair cut by the INCREDIBLE KAT!!! I seriously cannot sing her praises high enough. She was so patient with me and actually listened to what I wanted. We discussed my trouble areas (I have dandruff and have started to lose my hair and it’s noticeable. I’m rather embarrassed by it.) but she made me feel SO COMFORTABLE, SO at HOME and SO WELCOME there. She listened to my concerns and actually worked with me to create the best outcome! I’m so happy with her work that I will not be going anywhere else. Thank you so much again for your attention to detail, your professionalism and conversation! It’s like I was chatting with an old friend that I’d know for years! All in all, if you choose to get your haircut.. Like.. EVER.. I would 100% recommend Awaken Hair Design. Kat is incredible. “I have had massages with both Mary and Sadhvi. Both are great; both use hot towels and stones (and essential oils, if you want); and I always leave relaxed! They genuinely want to help you feel better and will suggest things sometimes during the massage so don’t be surprised if they talk to you at certain points throughout the hour. I love that I don’t have to drive all the way to AVL for a wonderful massage experience!“
