Healthplex is a welcoming and well-equipped gym with a calming, plant-filled atmosphere. The locker room is clean and well-maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. Customers appreciate the wide range of amenities, which include a swimming pool, basketball gym, sauna, and steam room, with plentiful, great and updated machines. Fresh towels are provided, and the gym is cleaner than most. The childcare center is topnotch and the play area is loved by children. Awesome classes, like step class and Yoga, are offered. Staff are very helpful and kind, providing guidance on personal training, nutrition, programs, and locker rental.
I would like to thank Ms. Candace for her ability to listen to me pertaining to the concerns for the shower curtains in the men's shower. She made the changes ASAP and the improvement was a success to reduce the growth of mold and mildew on the shower curtains. It appears she went a step farther and weekly we have a new set of shower curtains and liners. Thank you for your ability to work with customers and listen to our concerns.
Highly recommend the Pulmonary Rehab program offered from Cape Fear Valley through Healthplex. Wonderful technicans trainers and medical staff and the exercise program is top notch for anyone with respiratory and heart issues. Highly recommend this program.
I'm in the cardiac rehab maintenance program at Healthplex. It's the best decision that I have made since my heart surgery. First of all, the staff is incredible. Their care and knowledge combined with their encouragement is a credit as to my feeling as good as I do. Also, I have to say, the other members of the Healthplex are some of the friendliest people I've met since moving here about 4 years ago. I'll be continuing my program as long as I'm able, hopefully many years from now!
