My hair stylist is Diana, she has fantastic skills, and she knows how to deal with all my quirks and with my hair's "special needs". The atmosphere in the shop is very friendly, the place is immaculate, and the clientele very diverse. “Lauren is that girl. I got a curly cut after a long year of not cutting my hair and she killed it. My hair feels so healthy, light, and bouncy. I didn't feel rushed, she was gentle with detangling, affordable, and talked me through my nerves. It's always a scary experience to try someone new with your hair, but you're in safe hands with Lauren. I also bought the product that she used ( she didn't try to force the product on me, like other salons), but I bought it simply because she used it so great with my hair. Book your appointment a little ahead of time, sis is booked and busy. The vibe is great, it's very clean (they have this cool vacuum trash can thingy to get all the hair up), and you can tell everyone there is amazing people who love what they do. This was my first cover up so I didn’t really know what to expect, but she reassured me I was in good hands. The atmosphere of the shop was amazing! The artist were very welcoming from the time of the consultation, to the time of the I left. Jez, Danielle, Betty and Mack are the funniest and most professional tattoo specialists I have ever met. “Please Read - I feel as a long time Client of Mop Heads - I must write the TRUTH to a situation that I witnessed while in the salon tonight getting my hair done by one of the owners - a Lady( Miss P) who wrote review full of lies and not Facts - walked in for her appointment and was very RUDE to staff from the moment she walked in and seemed very unsure what she wanted done and stylist was trying to help her and give his professional opinion. Lady was questioning stylist in a very condescending manner and questioning his ability and how many years he has been doing hair ! Zach ( stylist) was very professional and nice considering how he was being treated and talked to and I was 1 client of several in salon tonight that had to witness MISS P’s attitude !!! ADVICE - Treat others how you want to be TREATED and don’t lie to justify your MEAN/ Hateful behavior !!! And the comment of Race is just ridiculous- several employees /clients at Mop Heads are African-American among others and All are licensed ( not Illegal) . Mop Heads is a beautiful salon with very talented and professional stylists that make you feel like family and welcome.”
