First time I went I got box braids that were done by Shanell and I loved it. The size, length, look...EVERYTHING was perfect and they lasted for a long time, almost 5 months. The second time I went her daughters did my box braids. First I had to go back and forth about the colors I wanted and the length and price. I wanted it the exact same as the first time which cost me $220 and this time they quoted me $260. There were about 3 of them doing my hair this time and one of them is not a braider AT ALL! The length was ok, but the actual braids were horrible!! The size was different all over my entire head, my hair was not properly braided into the braids, and to top it off I ended up paying $240 (Shanell took $20 off bc obviously she could tell they were done pretty terribly) and these braids looked really bad within one week. I ended up having to take them out after two weeks bc it looked like I had had them for 2 years. I will not be going back unless it is solely Shanell working on my hair!!
