Last week I had a terrible experience. I spoke with the owner beforehand, and she was very nice and understood exactly what I wanted. However, when I arrived for my appointment, she wasn’t there, and another stylist started on my hair. I tried explaining exactly how I wanted my hair done and asked how many rows she planned to braid. Her response was, “I just braid.” If I’m spending $350, I expect the stylist to communicate with me and make sure my hair is done the way I want it. The stylist was also very rough, pulling my hair excessively and making me uncomfortable throughout the process. Eventually, I decided to stop the service and told her not to continue. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience and would not recommend this salon

The worst place, made an appointment and was clear that I had to be there at 10am a few weeks ago and got there and it was like 4 other people in front of me. I spoke with Fatima the day before. She was sure she would have my hair done. It was a mess. I had to be somewhere that evening a meeting and was running around looking crazy bc I had to find someone else..I would never recommend this place. I never write reviews

When I arrived, the stylist was an hour late. When she arrived, they didn't have the correct color, so I had to wait another 15 minutes before she stopped doing my hair to do someone else's. Then she started halfway through the braid and let another lady finish it, which took longer. I now have tension bumps because the braids are too tight. Do not visit this establishment; the floor is filthy, the ceiling is missing pieces, and there is music bumping all day. Save your money and visit a professional establishment.

Went there got my hair braided a month ago and hair coming out of the braids Rama done my hair she is so ruff on your head she don’t comb your hair out she just parts and braids it I have fly aways all in my hair she using hair out the drawer that’s tangled and never combs that either .. its a light brown skin lady in there she just looks at you all funny and comes around laughing talking all loud and breathing all close to you when she talking to the braider when she needs to working on the people hair ..my hair was done how she wanted it done not how I asked her to do it .. They do it the way they want too not what the customer is paying for

I went in there yesterday for knotless braids and walked out-with box braids .. why ? Oh because the braiders did what they wanted to do instead of what i asked for. The place is nasty! The workers walk around barefoot , lay on the couches , roaches are everywhere .. they were eating while doing my hair & complained while doing my hair . Don’t get me wrong .. my hairs not ugly , but it’s not what i wanted or asked for . The place needs to be shut down . No wonder i was the only client to walk in .. their clientele is clearly weak already as is . Smh

It took me a few days to write this because I was extremely upset and in disbelief about what happened to my hair.
On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, I went to the salon to have a sew-in removed. An older stylist began taking out my tracks. She used scissors to cut the thread and repeatedly pulled on my hair. I told her to stop because I was uncomfortable with how aggressively she was handling my hair. She apologized and said she would cut the thread out one by one instead of using these scissors like a razor.
After about 20 minutes, I decided to have her stop because I did not feel comfortable what they continue, pulling on my hair. Once I got in my car to take my braids out I realized that my own hair had been cut along with the tracks. I could clearly see sections where my hair had been cut and broken.
I was completely heartbroken. My hair has fallen out in areas, and this damage cannot be undone.
I notified the owner, Fatima. She apologized and offered to do my hair for free. However, this was not about a free service !! it was about the principle and the damage that was done. I was also asked by Fatima not to post a review. Ashe told me the stylist would only be suspended but I truly believe that the Stylist should be fired.
I am sharing this because clients deserve transparency and careful handling of their natural hair. My experience was careless and deeply disappointing. I would not recommend the salon ever!!!! I have also considered contacting the business better Bureau.
