We needed some documents notarized to apply for a marriage license, and came here to have it done. My fiancé was only barely able to meet me here during their business hours (rushing here straight from work in Cary), but the notary we worked with was very kind and showed no sign of impatience or frustration, even though she ended up staying 45 minutes past closing for us. A few FYIs: - Their REGULAR business hours are M-F, 10 AM to 7 PM. Yelp lists their extended tax season hours (9-8), so beware and call ahead! - I was given an initial estimate of 10 minutes to notarize documents. This must have been PER DOCUMENT, as we ended up being there for an hour!! - They only accept CASH (again, except during tax season). This would have been extremely helpful to have known up front. - When I came in the front door, a friendly, elderly chihuahua rushed to greet me. I loved this, but it's worth being aware of if you have allergies, fears, or tend to take a long time going through doors. ;) The dog was not there the other time I've been in.

I received a letter from the IRS, confused I call LaContable, they are opened year-round, not just tax season...It's worth mentioning that the letter I received was from a previous tax return year, not done by La Contable... Anywhoo, the staff member was beyond helpful.. She took her time, reviewed all my documents and explained the reason for the letter in detail.... They are amazing...Talk about gng far and beyond for a customer!!! I will continue to come to La Contable, even if it's about a 45 min drive..Skip the glitz and glamour of a big corp building, these are high quality accountants who honestly care about their clientele... Gracias.
