Pilates seemed intimidating at first, but the teachers (Aletheia and Reeves) are welcoming and don’t push you to keep up. They’re always encouraging you to listen to your body and do the moves you want to do. Everyone I’ve met in class is friendly and they’re from all walks of life. I never feel judged, even when I’m just laying on my mat taking a rest during our workout (which is absolutely encouraged).
