I recently went through the hiring process with Cornerstone and had a very disappointing experience. I had already completed an orientation with them a few months ago, and at that time I was told something completely different about being able to work between offices. Now, suddenly, there’s a “new policy,” and I was expected to sit through another unpaid orientation with no acknowledgment of the time I already invested.
When I explained to Jordan that I had a client scheduled and wasn’t prepared for another unpaid session, the response I received was dismissive and lacked any understanding of my situation. Instead of working with me or offering any flexibility, Jordan immediately ended the process.
It’s frustrating to be told one thing months ago, invest your time, and then be treated as if your concerns don’t matter. Consistency and communication are important in caregiving, and unfortunately, I didn’t experience either here.

I have been in the healthcare industry for years and we often don’t want to face when it’s our own family needing help. It’s because we think we can do it all. I quickly realized I can’t and after calling two other companies that were unable to help I dialed Cornerstone. Not only did they answer on a holiday weekend but they had the nurse and a caregiver at my father’s home within 24 hours. I was blown away with the professionalism, timeliness and attentiveness to our needs. With my father’s appointments that were not always scheduled Cornerstone was always available. My father had the same caregiver each time and she was so loving, passionate and took great care of him. I’m so grateful for the support Cornerstone provided. Special thank you to our caregiver Azaria! Not only did she care for my father during his final weeks she also showed up to his funeral pouring love into our family. What a blessing to have! Excellent agency here in the Lake Norman area! I recently visited Cornerstone Caregiving in Huntersville to learn more about their services in preparation for hip surgery. It was a positive experience from the very first phone call with Rachel, to meeting the rest of the administrative team and ultimately coordinating care. I found Cornerstone's resource wall helpful as well since I may need other services following surgery (medical transportation and physical therapy). These folks are here to help, and savvy when it comes to other support services and businesses in our area too! Highly recommend this agency!

Cornerstone was great! The nurse treated our family with compassion through a very difficult time, the administration was incredibly accommodating with all of our scheduling needs, and they even helped direct us to other resources. Just a super helpful team in that office! We would definitely use again.

Good morning, I want to share my and my family’s heartfelt thanks for your connecting Amy to our family and helping our mother Betsy Keniley. Amy currently comes to see mom 3 days a week and provides invaluable help and companionship for her. Since I am the only local family and still work a full-time job, it’s so comforting to know that Amy is there regularly to spend time with mom. She is helpful, kind and my mother not only appreciates all that Amy does, but genuinely enjoys spending time with her. Mom has complete trust in Amy and that gives our entire family comfort and confidence that someone is checking in on mom when we can’t be there.

We have used Cornerstone regularly, 6 days a week, for in home care for my mother-in-law for over 4 months. They have been wonderful. We have been lucky enough to have Amy coming on a regular basis. She is wonderful all around - my mother in law loves her as do we. She has come up with some good ideas that make things better for my mother-in-law. On the days Amy couldn't come, we have had other great caregivers. There may have been 1 or 2 mix-ups but Cornerstone management always got involved and fixed things quickly. Highly recommend!
