Air Velocity Heating & Air Conditioning LLC

We purchased a fixer upper home that had a disastrous heat pump situation. With an incorrectly-installed air handler unit draining condensate under the house, and plenums that were not connected properly, the dank moist crawlspace air was being sucked up into the living space of the house. Enter our superheroes, Bill and Shawn from Air Velocity! Not only did they pull the proper permit and size the unit correctly, but they expertly replaced the whole system - air handler, condenser, plenums -- on one of the hottest days of the summer. The best part was that they suspended the new air handler from the joists (as opposed to sitting it up on old cinderblock pedestals), so that when we had the space encapsulated, there was no need to cut holes in the underlayment. Not only does the new air handler look good, but it's SO quiet - and coupled with the new thermostat and outdoor condenser, it's a total system that is efficient and effective in making our home climate wonderful! Air Velocity's team is professional, honest, hard-working, friendly and skilled. They know what they are talking about, don't oversell, and stand behind their work. HVAC is the kind of thing that must be done right the first time, and these guys make sure of it. If you want to be confident that your investment is in good hands, give Air Velocity Heating and Air Conditioning your business!

UPDATE 2026 - the review below was given in 2017 when Bill installed our new unit. We haven't had a SINGLE issue in 9 YEARS. I called Bill to take a look as we noticed an issue a few days ago, he and Shawn were here ASAP. The service from both of them was exceptional. I very highly recommend Air Velocity, Bill and Shawn!!!! We are eternally grateful for the ongoing support!

Absolutely amazing. They were prompt, professional, efficient and clean. The entire experience was completed in just over 2 days including phone calls and administrative tasks. 2 days to replace a complete unit. We would highly recommend Air Velocity to anyone looking.

Our HVAC system was older and broke down right before a heat wave. I called Air Velocity and Bill came out right away. He ended up installing a new system, including a new thermostat. He was very thorough in his assessment of the situation and did a wonderful job installing everything within a matter of days. My new system is running smoothly and we are grateful for the professional and personable service. You can absolutely trust this company for your HVAC needs.
