“Let me start by saying, "I don't do reviews." However, I felt this one was warranted. I have been seeing Dr Kakourous for roughly 10 years. I literally hated him the first 3-4. Not his fault but I was traumatized at an early age by another dentist who thought it was a great idea to have me look away and stick me with a numbing needle (the hell was he thinking). Let's just say my reflexes reflexed. Due to that, Dr. K not only has to explain every step but also let me see every tool prior to doing his work (normal practice but maybe seeing every tool was extreme). Though I was still nervous I needed to see everything in order to prepare myself before the he negan the smallest of procedures. I'm sure there were people out there with more challenging issues than me but couldnt tell me that years ago. I tensed up every time and I made sure to do something with my hands to ensure K wouldnt get reflexed on. All jokes aside, I just wanted to take a moment to thank him and his Staff from Barbara who has been greeting me and taking my money from the beginning I feel. Heidi who keeps me cleaned up and really listened when I asked her not to use the jack hammer thing this trip to Dr K who has been honest and transparent the entire journey. I have given your staff hell I know but you guys have been there every step and my teeth are healthier than they have been in a long time and for that I wanted to say THANK YOU.If anyone is ever looking for a denist in Southwest Charlotte please consider Kakourous Family Denistry.Preciate You K!See you in 3 months?“

My husband also sees Dr. Tiller and has only positive things to share about his experience. I have had cavities filled and recently got a crown, and she makes the process go very smoothly. Before I started seeing Dr. Tiller, I was a patient at another dental practice in the area. I had so many issues there. I just wish I would have switched to Dr. Tiller sooner.The entire staff is wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Tiller.“

“I can’t stop raving about Dr. Arpita and her amazing staff and office! First off I have to thank Gloria at the front desk for being an amazing patient advocate!! From the first phone call, to the end of the visit I knew we were in amazing care and came to the right place. Dr. Arpita took the time to introduce herself as soon as we came in and really made our visit feel personalized and not rushed in the slightest. My son previously had a bad experience at his prior dentist and was super nervous, but he has now told everyone that will listen about how cool his new dentist is. He loved all of the painted murals in the different rooms and the coin machine with prizes. I can’t thank all of the staff enough for such a great overall experience. At the end they said ‘welcome to the family’ and I wanted to cry honestly, because they don’t even know how much their care and ‘family’ meant to me knowing we have this place to look forward to bringing my son every 6 months and we no longer have to dread the dentist. “Dentistry of the Carolinas is an amazing establishment. I have never had such a gentle and comforting dental experience as I did today. They take very good care of you from offering you a blanket and stress balls to applying lotion to your lips to keep them from getting chapped during your procedure. The dentist is so thorough in explaining the procedure to you and constantly checks on you throughout the process. The assistant, Logan, did the same. Both were just absolutely fantastic! I never leave reviews, but upon leaving today, I knew I had to. I highly recommend this dental practice!“
