My brother passed within 3 weeks after being in the hospital and he had not received any bills by mail from Carolinas Pathology that family were aware of. During discovery it was determined that his bill was turned over to a Collection Agency. This is the only debtor that transferred anything to Collections while the Estate was being set up. Although I don't agree with the way this was handled by the service provider, I believe in paying what's owed and his bill was paid from the Estate account once set up and eventually made aware that he had an unpaid bill. Billing department recieved all my insurance information and never processed it nor billed me or advised me the acount was unpaid for 4 months then they sent it to collections. Had to make several phone calls to fix the problem

Much like other reviews, I received a bill from them. I asked for the billing code so that I can make sure it was correct and thus pay the bill. They told me on 4 different calls they was do this and never did. I was them turned over to a collections agency.
