“I asked Wei to leave my beard and mustache long for a Halloween costume I am planning this year, so please just trim it, except the sides. Instead it trimmed everything down to next to nothing. I expect the issue was the language barrier, because I asked him to trim the sides closer at one point and next thing I knew he has trimmed off most of my beard. He did a good job of giving me the beard I did not want though, I will give him that. Haircut was fine too. EDIT: It was Winter who was the barber, not Wei.“

“This was our first time coming to Exclusive. We made a mistake and showed up for our appointment on the wrong day (Monday, when they are usually closed, our appointment was for Tuesday). The owner, Lou, happened to be there, and was so kind and accommodating. He opened up shop for my son to get his hair cut, knowing school started the next day. The space is clean, inviting, and boasts of stylists who care about their craft. From the trophies proudly displayed, to the tripods on site, you can tell this is a place where stylists show off how exceptional their skills are. I would have left 5 stars for the kindness alone, but we will absolutely be back because of the execution of the cut as well. Ayleen and Maria at the bar made my first S&S experience even better—they were so friendly, funny, and welcoming! The bar has a really cool speakeasy vibe, and the drink prices are great. I’d honestly stop by just for cocktails!
