Bradley gave me my confidence back! Have lazy since Covid and just pulling my hair back in a ponytail and maybe a visor when I wanted to hide! He gave me a great consultation and then gave me the best cut ever! It’s amazing how much better you can feel with a great new look! The gal at the front reception was super sweet too! I highly recommend Syd’s!PS The receptionist was Ailin!

AMAZING! It is such a great place and Caiti is totally awesome. She did a spectacular job on my hair color. Literally perfect. She really listened to me when I was trying to describe what I was trying to achieve. She exceeded my expectations. I HIGHLY recommend her and the salon. Melissa the manager was also fabulous.

The first time I went here I was thrilled. I finally found a stylist who wasn’t afraid to cut my hair to look too masculine. So I thought going back for a trim and giving the same description would be fine. I ended up with a cut that gave me dysphoria. And the color we did was completely the wrong color. (The stylist and I had gone back and forth on what color I was doing. My hair ended up a shade I had seen photos of, but it was one I rejected for being way too dark. I asked for a bright red-violet, and it looked black in normal indoor lighting. So again, this is a color the stylist thought I might want but one I said no to.)I’m incredibly non-confrontational, so it took other people telling me I should call about a redo later that day for me to do it. I didn’t expect to pay nothing, but I did call and ask about a redo. The person I spoke to confirmed that it would cost something, but they could probably get me in for a haircut. That was fantastic because again, looking in the mirror and feeling like you look like the wrong gender sucks.The next day I am informed over voicemail that I am fired as a client. There was a pretty heavy implication that I was lying, though they blamed it on my schedule needs. Is having to work around a 9-5 that unusual? To be fair, they refunded my money. But I didn’t ask for that. I was willing to pay more, but instead I had to just live with the hair, specifically the gendered cut, while I looked for a new shop.

Syd’s is awesome. I’m kind of shocked I haven’t reviewed them before since I’ve been getting my hair cut here since I moved here in 2018. I’ve had many different types of cuts here, and they have all turned out great. I have worked with multiple stylists, but most recently Cinnamon has been cutting my hair and she is awesome! She’s awesome at what she does and is a super cool and lovely person. Even if I come in with only a vague idea of what I want, I leave with a haircut I really like. Thanks Syd’s!

First time customer! I had a really wonderful experience here. The lovely individual cutting my hair really made me feel heard and comfortable and welcome. I'm so happy with the cut I got and also I loved the great vibes and atmosphere of the place.

This salon looks very cool, but their online scheduling system is terrible in every way. Staff was nice but did not do anything to solve the issue. Cannot recommend for these reasons.

I went to Syd’s (February 11th) because my partner recommended it. I had very long and badly damaged hair/hair loss and it had not been cut in over two years. I moved here from another state and was really worried about seeing a brand new stylist. I saw Kelly when I was there and he was very kind and friendly, and helped get my hair looking healthy again. He definitely worked really hard to assuage any worries I had about getting my hair cut, and I was very happy with the beautiful cut he did. My hair looks healthier than it has in so long. The salon itself was very inviting and all the staff I spoke to were kind and professional as well. I will definitely be back for my next cut and would absolutely recommend Syd’s to anyone looking for a new salon.Services: Shampoo & conditioning
