Dr. Kroninger is no longer running Academy Eye in Chapel Hill. As someone who has been seeing him for over 30 years, I am happy he has been able to retire. Unfortunately, you will not always receive the same service. Dr. Canterbury is nice, although reception is hit and miss. There is a young man who is very knowledgeable and helpful. There is a lady on reception who is not. I could not make an appointment for her letting me know I was a liability to the office for asking to purchase one contact until my next (hopefully very soon appointment).
