I have a history of lower back pain and have seen multiple PT's over the past 10 years or so. I had limited success at other places, but I was never able to get over my lower back pain. The pain was getting worse so I had an MRI and had to decide on how to proceed. I was recommended to Team Care and Jon from my spine doctor at UNC. I have long had issues with inflexibility and was recently diagnosed with radiculopathy, which is a pinched nerve in the back as well as back arthritis. I was extremely inflexible and could not bend over very far, which contributed to pain during body movements. My doctor advised me to see Jon Weinberg at Team Care Physical Therapy. He is nothing short of a miracle worker. His theory is that the back is central to the other body parts and that focusing on back flexibility can open up the rest of the body to functional movement. I would highly recommend Jon for your Physical Therapy needs, especially those pertaining to the back.
