About Life Time
Life Time Cary is an expansive athletic country club that offers a wide range of facilities and services. Customers can enjoy an extensive fitness floor, unlimited studio classes, basketball courts, eucalyptus steam rooms, and both indoor and outdoor pools. The facility is well-maintained and convenient for travelers, providing a comprehensive package for fitness enthusiasts. The club's trainers, front desk staff, and class selection are praised by many customers. The equipment on the second floor is great, and the overall attentiveness to clients is commendable. However, some issues have been reported, such as inconsistent maintenance of the spa facilities, with one or both hot tubs often out of order, and occasional inconsistencies in the cleanliness of the locker rooms and steam rooms. The club's pricing has increased over time, and some amenities have been discontinued, which has led to some customer dissatisfaction. Despite these challenges, the facility continues to offer a variety of classes, great machines, and free weights, as well as lap pools and cycle training, all managed by a team of professional trainers.
I prefer Alston location (shiny and new), but am very impressed with the staff at Regency Cary. Love the vibe of the staff, Serena is such a friendly personal trainer, infectious personality. And instructors Lindatta and Nidaa for Pilates are 5 star!
I wish I had started at this location instead!!!! I originally went to the Raleigh Life Time don’t go there!! I ended up leaving the Raleigh location and driving 30 minutes to the Cary location simply because of the negative energy there and the rude staff.
I told the personal trainers at the Cary location about my experience at Life Time Raleigh, and they immediately took action and made my overall experience much better. If you’re looking for personal training, I highly recommend Caleb and Terrance they’re amazing. Thank you both for everything you’ve helped me with!
I had a really great experience here. I used the pools and cold plunge for supplemental physical therapy. Cancel was easy through the app. You do have to give notice, but it was clear at sign up and when you check the app. Billing is weird. Even w a credit card. It takes 3 days to bill.
Now, my only complaints are that women will wash their hair in the hot tubs and that was disgusting, everyone just left the tub. Staff walking by said nothing. I think the ladies did it intentionally to have the tub solo. Ive seen the same two ladies do that on multiple occasions. Sometimes the locker room showers are nasty, but staff is always cleaning. Idk if it's their fault...read full review
