It is a privilege to give my highest recommendation to First Choice Roofing & Construction. Ours was a fairly large residential roofing project driven by hail damage during a spring thunderstorm. The project included removal and replacement of approximately 140 squares of GAF Timberline HDZ shingles, approximately 200 square feet of pinched metal roof, and all gutters and downspouts. On the replacement, we upgraded to five inch gutters with gutter covers. The entire project was coordinated by FCR’s Senior Project Manager, Yhocio Aguirre. In all cases, Yhocio was personable, responsible, technically competent, and prompt. When Yhocio said he or his work crews would be on site they were there. Yhocio’s scheduling of the project became a delicate dance around the highly unpredictable weather patterns in the North Carolina Piedmont. As it turned out, the uncovered roof never saw a drop of rain. Yhocio had scheduled fourteen roofing professionals to remove and replace the asphalt shingles in one day to ensure this goal. He also served as a technical liaison between me and my insurance claim adjuster. This proved to be a blessing and removed the stress associated with a project of this size and complexity. The workers were all highly skilled experts in their fields. The high number of gables and valleys proved labor intensive but all workers proved motivated to provide the highest quality product at project completion. Special effort was executed to maintain a minimum of loose debris in the yard and driveway. At project completion, the yard and drive were scanned with large magnets to remove any rogue nails and screws. Special effort was afforded to ensure that none of the landscaping or house structure suffered any damage during the entire process. The existing roof joists and sheathing were structurally sound so there were no financial surprises. The cost given at the beginning of the project was the cost at the end of the project. A comprehensive fifty year shingle warranty consummated the end of a highly successful project completion. Several of the homes in my development have had their roofs replaced by First Choice Roofing & Construction. I know of no problems with any of them. You can’t go wrong with these guys.
Everyone I had the pleasure working with provided a wonderful experience. They were mindful of my newborn baby and worked around my schedule. The crew that completed the roof work were all very professional and kind. They made sure my dog was safe to walk the yard when she needed a potty break. They did an excellent job cleaning up all the trash and nails. I loved that even though I was home I received pictures via text through out the entire process. It shows the level of work you truly are getting. Shows that you can put trust in the crew working because they are willing to show you every step. Highly recommend. 10/10
