Dr. Mcmillan is the only dentist that I trust to redo my veneers. I learned about the damage a dentist could do the hard way. Since it often takes years to show up and in other parts of the skeleton, people rarely make the connection. Not to speak of the damage mercury does to the body sooner or later.

The best holistic dentist I've ever been to! Some dentists claim to be holistic, but they aren't. Dr McMillan is truly a caring dentist trained in providing the best holistic dentistry. I drive 1.5 hours one way to see him. It's well worth the drive!

I had seen my previous holistic dentist for over a decade, but when she recommended a root canal, I did online research and re-read Mark Breiner's "Whole Body Dentistry" book, and decided I wanted a second opinion.
When I visited Dr McMillan, he recommended an extraction, and has been very knowledgeable, caring and professional. I also appreciate Rebecca's virtually pain-free teeth cleaning, Maria's attentive dentist support, and Eileen's communication regarding scheduling and billing. Thank you!

I wish I could give this place zero stars.Acupuncturist recommended my dad to go here to get a cone beam CT scan to see if his lymphoma might be linked to certain infections related to his root canals. Did the scan and we called constantly for weeks to get results and after 1.5 months they did they sent it to the acupuncturist, yet when we asked the acupuncturist (every single week dad goes), he said he has not received anything. Then they said they emailed it to me, and I certainly did not receive anything. It’s been 3 months, so dad finally goes to their office and they hand us a CD ROM of the results.It’s a really bummer because I really wanted to like this place it make it my dentist as well, b/c they claim to be the only holistic dentist in the area.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr McMillan and his staff. As a functional nutritionist, it has been a struggle to find biological dental care that addresses root cause issues and and designs treatment plans with whole-body healing in mind. Dr McMillan and his staff are very friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. I drive an hour and 45 minutes to this office, and it's well worth it. I will be referring my friends, family and clients to him!

Dr. Carl and his staff (Office Manager Kathryn and Dental Assistant Carrie) are simply the best! I had several very old crowns with toxic metals that were causing severe inflammation, and which were in dire need of replacement. Dr. Carl was able, even prior to the X-rays, to differentiate the crowns causing the inflammation from those made with nontoxic materials. Dr. Carl and his staff made the multiple procedures not only quite painless but actually an overall enjoyable experience, due to the fascinating conversations we were somehow able to conduct throughout the dental work! Also noteworthy was their response when I bit through a temporary crown shortly before I was to leave for a vacation in Italy. I reached Dr. Carl’s wife in the Charlotte office when I called, and she immediately coordinated with the Cary office to work me into their very busy schedule. Dr. Carl then made sure to use extra adhesive so I wouldn’t encounter any difficulties on my trip. Highly recommended!
