This school was everything I looking for and so much more. I struggled for years with the mainstream yoga culture and because of it was always reluctant to associate myself with yoga in any way. I had the privilege of learning from an incredible Ashtanga teacher Stacy. The overall environment creates a welcoming environment for all levels. Classes are offered both online and in-person making it accessible wherever you are. I highly recommend studying with AYS Raleigh if your looking to embark on a transformative journey. A genuine 5 star experience.
It's not easy to review a yoga studio (or anything, for that matter), so many inputs. For Yoga, personal attention is pretty crucial in my opinion. Stacy gives you all you need and more. Could the room be prettier? sure, if that's what you're focused on. If you go in with an open mind, willing to accept that Mysore Ashtanga is not a series of poses done in unison by all, you'll find great value in running your own routine with guidance.
