Place feels more institutional these days and I hear they were bought out, but they still retain some very good Doctors (Chow, Stigmeier). They should file insurance without question like they used to. They used to know me and know these things. Thus not 5 stars. Good higher end frame selection like Maui Jim's.

From entrance to exit, the staff interacted with me in a professional and thoroughly cordial fashion. It’s a well-choreographed process, one in which I feel truly taken care of. I appreciate the manner in which information about my eyes and about the costs of dealing with them id shared clearly and often. In short, I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Friel and Carrboro Family Vision.
