There is no better guitar shop in N.C., possibly in the U.S. These guys know guitars better than anyone I have ever met. I have bought multiple guitars from them and will continue as long as they are selling them!

Will and his team are nothing but pure class and have unmatched customer service. Will took the time to make me a video to demo an amp and answered all of my questions! They have the best gear and the prices are incredibly fair! They love what they do and it shows! I will be back for all my guitar gear needs!

This is the highest quality guitar shop that I've ever dealt with and I've dealt with a lot of them. These folks go out of their way to make sure you are happy, completely satisfied and have truly found your "timeless tone" as their tag line says. It doesn't end with a fantastic guitar inventory in this shop!!! Highly recommend!!!

I found out about Lowe Vintage Instrument through a friend and I’ve since purchased four acoustic guitars and have sold three guitars on consignment. This is my favorite guitar shop. I drive 2.5 hours one way to visit, play, and chat with the father and son owners. I love that I can play instruments not available in my area and they just say, make yourself at home. Their shop is pristine and Will, the son, is extremely knowledgeable about the gear he sells. And these guys are genuine and I completely trust them. Visit and meet them and you will know exactly what I mean.-Doug Conner

There aren't enough stars to rate exactly how much I love this store. I went for the first time on 11/4/2015. I walked in and I could hear the guys in the back. I looked around and started realizing what gems they had in the store. After seeing the selection, I just knew that when someone came out to speak that I was going to get the "holier than thou" treatment that most boutique dealers treat their visitors with. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!! The owner walked out and asked "Can I help you?" And I told him I was just looking. What he said next blew me away. He said, "Well if you see anything you like just grab it off the wall and play it." At that point I questioned whether I had heard him correctly or not. I have been in shops where their entire inventory value is less the the cost of one guitar at Lowe Vintage and the owners act like I should take off my shoes when I come in and wear white gloves to handle.Back to Lowe Vintage.After he had told me to play anything I wanted, I said, "You don't hear that everyday!" He told me that when him and his son opened up the shop that they wanted it to be the shop that they always dreamed of walking into.I played about 7-8 guitars and was impressed with each of them.He and his son just kept bringing me guitars to try out, knowing that I had no intent to buy. It's almost like they just enjoy seeing peoples reactions to playing guitars that are known legends.I would thoroughly recommend everyone who love fine guitars to go and visit Lowe Vintage.

A friend recommended I visit; the place is like a vintage guitar museum.The owner greeted me and told me that if I wanted to try out anything, take it down and play it! So I did! And it was a blast!Every guitar I played was clean and set up correctly from the lowest priced to the most expensive one, at least the most expensive one I played!I didn't visit the store to buy anything BUT I found a very nice Blueridge that fit my budget so I took it home!There was no haggling over the price, no hemming and hawing around, and I appreciate that!This is a great store, I am100% satisfied with every aspect of my purchase and plan to visit again soon!Check it out!
