Location of the property is quite close to Bryson City, but not too close. Pretty grounds, albeit steep/hilly. Service was friendly and helpful, not too intrusive but also just enough. Cabin we stayed in was close to the top of the property, suggest a lower unit if your desire is to be closer to the pool, office, store, or secluded soak locations, or if you're not as nimble as you used to be.
We came here for a girls getaway from spouses, kids, and responsibilities. It was the prefect location. Very quiet, beautiful views, tucked away, serene property. There's a shop and boutique on property as well as a dollar general 2 minutes away for anything you may have forgotten. At night we sat on the deck and watched the stars and fireflies. In the mornings, we were able to grab light bites for breakfast at the Property cafe and our host was so attentive to our needs. The location is only a 10 minutes drive to the city center where there are restaurants, shops, train rides, and outdoor adventures. My husband and I spent a long weekend here for our mini-honeymoon. You have to do the soaking cabana! We had a rainy weekend and have never felt more relaxed. We brought our dog and stayed in one of the dog-friendly rentals!
