This idiot ran me out of the road and when I said something to him he flipped me off with both hands like a child and called me crazy ! Real
Professional behavior for someone in a company can ! This happened on July 22 about 1 pm in enka candler as I exited the interstate at exit 44
John Mayfield sold & installed 2 identical Lennox heat pumps 4 years ago, one was always twice as loud as the other. Despite John's assurances it was fine, it has now stopped working and has a coolant leak. He refuses to stand by the product sold, or his labor to install. He has been back3 times, the unit is still not fixed. We are billed for his labor & now he won't come back. Doesn't stand behind equipment or labor.
Quickly responded to the call, however didn't actually spend the required time to diagnose problems in the HVAC system and repair it. The system has been loud and running roughly since they installed it 4 years ago, but the technician refused to acknowledge that there was a problem until it outright failed and billed for each diagnostic call to say "there's nothing wrong" until it literally didn't turn on anymore. The main problem is in the fan electrical system. But we will address that in a moment. The technician first said there was a leak in the system and apparently filled it instead of using the opportunity to recapture the coolant, test for the leak (using a dye), and then refill. The technician said it would last through the season. There is a HVAC service fraud scheme that involves a never ending leak, so that the company can repeatedly bill for "recharges" and labor. Failing to address the leak in the system this company installed in the first place both resembles this scheme and is an example of not standing behind your work. The technician got the system running and then left (important note). The system ran for one cycle and wouldn't come back on (the original call was it wouldn't turn on). Called and reported the same day, and the technician returned 5 days later. This time the technician's diagnosis was a bad fan motor, something "he's never seen before". The fan would lurch, but it wouldn't run unless it was manually started by pushing the blades. The same thing the technician would've had to do the first time; but failed to claim a diagnosis. However my 4yo kid with a Discovery Electronics kit could tell you that the fan needs a capacitor to give it the initial kick and then runs afterward on the regular current (the reason the system ran after the tech spun the blades, and that the fan appeared to lurch but not spin, and that it ran for that cycle but then didn't come back on again next cycle). So... either this guy is incompetent, or this resembles another fraud scheme where the HVAC tech replaces parts that obviously don't need to be replaced over several separate service calls to rack up billable hours... The entire time the guy was arrogant. Do not recommend for install, maintenance, or repair.
