I have been seeing Sweeten Creek Animal and Bird for medical care on my senior dog for the past 3 years. I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, which helped keep Bone calm.
Dr. Bolt is exceptional. He took the time to thoroughly examine Bone and explain everything in detail. I appreciated the way they handled Bone with such care and patience, making sure he felt safe throughout the visit. They also provided clear and helpful advice on Bone’s diet and overall health.

I really like this animal hospital! They have done a lot to help keep my tortoise healthy, and the doctors are all very kind. They clearly care a lot about our pets and know so much about them all. They have given me great resources for my tortoise.
My only complaint is that one of the receptionists, LeAnne, is very rude, especially on the phone. Everyone else there is super pleasant, but every time I call to make an appointment, I hope that she isn't going to be the one to answer the phone. The care is great, and I have limited options for my tortoise, so I put up with it. I do take my cat to a different vet, however.
My vet referred me here when his own practice was closed for renovations. I was so grateful that they could get me in right away; many vets here I'm Western NC are booked a week or more out. Tabitha was so accommodating and professional. Dr Cox was truly wonderful. She was extremely generous with her time as was her veterinary assistant Kaylee. Our dog Cal was compassionately handled and we left him there for a small procedure. His invoice was extremely fair and we cannot say enough good things about our experience . Thank you!
