I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Shay Brown Events for over 15 years as a caterer and private event chef. I am often amazed at the seemingly effortless and elegant production that accompanies each Shay Brown Event. I believe this is in large part to her exceptional team and the well oiled machine that she has so magnificently constructed. I always feel so well taken care of as a chef but more importantly I see how well taken care of the client feels. The relationship that Shay Brown Events and her team builds with the clients and the vendors is something that is above and beyond... as it should be! I highly recommend Shay Brown Events!
Shay Brown Events played a *huge* role in our wedding. They managed the venue that we got married at (Asheville Masonic Temple), and also were the wedding planner and coordinator for our event. Our planner, Alex, was fabulous. My husband and I opted for a less traditional wedding with a courthouse ceremony and reception later in the week. To be honest, my husband and I were overwhelmed by all of the details of planning the reception. The event was great and the entire Hope Chest for Women team - Board & Staff - has been very pleased with the venue and the guidance from SBE.We were thankful for the opportunity to work with Beth Edwards, Kristen Boddy, and Morgan Whatley. Each of them did a great job in assisting and assuring our needs for the day.We heard many positive comments on the MHCC space from our attendees.As a result, we plan to secure the venue again next year with a potential event date of Saturday, October 21st - if available.Thank you again Beth, Kristen, Morgan, and (of course) Shay!The pleasure to work with you was all ours and we look forward to working with you in the future.
