We love this Veterinary Practice! Kind and loving staff, knowledgeable, caring doctors!

All staff members are always welcoming! They always take wonderful care of my pups! I would recommend everyone to visit them!

Will not return. They are pushy with offering expensive unnecessary tests. I have never been to a vet's office that tries to guilt you into having additional tests done before this office.

After hearing at one vet that they did not know what was wrong with my dog, over and over again, I decided it was time for another opinion. I was able to get in quickly to meet with Dr. Bertelli, and within minutes, she gave me a diagnosis that made perfect sense. I left with two wonderful, modern products that brought my dog relief almost immediately. I have a followup appointment but my dog is essentially healed and back to her old self. I cannot recommend this vet or her clinic enough. They are purely professional with modern equipment and a progressive attitude. I will not take my pets anywhere else. They are a 5 star facility in every sense of the word.

East Asheville Family Vet is truly wonderful. From the moment you walk in, the staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about both pets and the people who love them.

The veterinarians take the time to explain everything clearly and thoughtfully, never rushing and never talking over you. Every question is answered with patience, and you leave feeling informed and reassured rather than overwhelmed.

It’s rare to find a vet where compassion, professionalism, and clear communication all show up consistently—but this team nails it. I’m so grateful to have such a caring, trustworthy practice in East Asheville. Highly recommend.

Paid $300 for some blood tests and for the Dr to suggest within minutes of meeting ( before test results were in), that my 4 year old cavapoo (service dog) should be put down due to having an unknown illness (elevated liver enzymes, elevated billirubin and jaundice). Initially, this is the ONLY OPTION I was presented with. My boy had energy and good cognition at this visit even wagging his tail,saying hi and complying to all commands given. The vet made a strange comment about my boy just being good because mom was around. Thats was kind of crazy and not at all the case. Koda is a good boy.

The whole appointment was brief and rushed. I felt pressured to choose the only option presented: euthanasia at this visit ( same day), and eventually, due to my hesitation, another option was presented regarding bringing him to a specialist. The Dr mentioned there not being any specialists nearby, that the closest was Greenville. This is not the case. There was one 12 min away. After telling the dr I'm not comfortable putting him down, she quickly ended the appointment saying she will call the specialists and let them know we are coming today and then rushed out the door to pick her son up from daycare.

I regret spending time and money here, we will not be coming back.

I have been bringing my pets to you for so long. I don’t remember how long it’s been. You’ve always taken such good care of all my fur babies and you check up on them and you praise them and you love them and you comfort me when I need it. Every doctor, technician and assistant we have met at this state of the art modern clinic over the course of treatment to return our beloved cat to health has exhibited exceptional professionalism, expertise and genuine caring - for her - and for us.
