I literally never take time to write reviews, but I am extremly dissappointed in PP. I have been a patient for over 5 years, but a recent insurance provider change has lead to my medication NOT being covered under the diagnostic code provided by PP. My insurance directly told me the correct code they should file it under. But, planned parenthood has outright refused to update the code or even appeal the prior authorization denial. They have done nothing to ensure my care can be accessed.
To be clear, the team at the Asheville office are 10/10, but the company is sorely lacking.

This place is a little dirty. The woman that answered the phone couldn't fully answer my question and it made me a little nervous. I also don't think the nurses care much. I felt unsafe here and would not return.

It was the worst experience of my life and I’m forever traumatized. Who knew going in to get a procedure that I would end up in the hospital right after.

I immediately felt safe and cared for, for my regular checkup/exam this week. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such compassionate care from a provider or nurse. What a great resource

Terrible service. The people are incompetent. I would not send a dog here. They are rude and don’t communicate well and will lie to you.

Waited 2 hours after my appointment time to be seen by the doctor. I called before my appointment to ask for an ultrasound, I clearly expressed I DID NOT want an invasive exam. They said it shouldn't be a problem but made no guarantees. When I got there the assistance said I probably wouldn't have to undress. After waiting alone for 2 hours the doctor performed an invasive exam only to order me the ultrasound I had originally requested. Disappointing and slightly traumatizing. Though the staff was very kind the communication was unclear and the wait times are unacceptable.
