I recently had a service visit from Patriot Plumbing through my home warranty provider. The technician arrived on time, was polite, and resolved a leak involving a shutoff valve near my home’s pressure regulator. He also adjusted the water pressure from 80 PSI down to 60, explaining that it was a safer setting — which I appreciated (I guess 😒).
However, I had a few concerns that affected the overall experience. Before even addressing the leak, the technician tried to upsell me on relocating a “burping valve” to a spot above my water heater.
