Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Check other’s reviews on different platforms if you don’t want to take my word for it.

I have avoid posting a review due to the negative comments I would be reporting but with this last surprise bill I have had a enough

The hygienist and dentist are wonderful

The billing has been inaccurate and vampiric. I had asked multiple times if my insurance was in network and multiple times I was told it was.

This was not factual and after paying over a $1000 out of pocket while being told my insurance would handle the rest I was surprised with another $460 bill months after my last treatment after establishing care with a new dentist who DID take my insurance and were accurate stating they do.

This review is not over the work but over the predatory tendencies the clinic displays for patients who can afford out of pocket expenses

I’ve absolutely enjoyed both of my visits so far. After not being to the dentist in many years, I was incredibly surprised at how easy and smooth things went. Anna and the rest of the staff really made me feel welcome and safe. The environment is joyful and the folks that work there are amazing. Signed: Very Happy Customer!!!!

I had a great experience at Laurelwood Family Dentistry. The clinic is very clean and well-organized, and the team is professional and welcoming. Everyone is kind, understanding, and always working with a smile, which made me feel comfortable right away. I especially enjoyed my visit with Dr Ertl , Michael and Anna ,The hygienists. They were gentle, caring, and did an amazing job. Highly recommend!

Everyone at Laurelwood Family Dentistry is fantastic! Marissa is always so kind and it’s nice to see a familiar face every time I walk in. I have had great experiences with all my cleanings. Anna has a great bubbly personality that puts me at ease and she’s a wonderful dental hygienist. All staff that I have interacted with have been super nice and seem to really enjoy what they do! Dr. Ertl and his staff have helped me in many ways to achieve healthy teeth and gums! I really appreciate everything they do.

I hate to leave a bad review, but I've read through the other bad ones, and they are the same experience I had. I sent over my insurance 5 weeks before the appointment, double checked on it when I confirmed the appointment, then the day of the appointment was told they hadn't received the insurance info needed and wanted me to pay cash, and that they would refund me once they got the insurance info they needed. They told me they weren't able to reach a real person at my insurance company. While in the waiting area, I was able to have my insurance company fax them what they wanted in less than 10 minutes. It was starting to not add up. Since they had the insurance info they needed now, I asked for the refund they told me they would give me. Then they told me they weren't authorized to give the refund they just told me they would give me 12 minutes earlier. I told them I wanted to cancel the appointment, they told me I would be charged an $85 missed appointment fee. I've thought it through over and over - could it have been bad luck? I don't think so. That is without a doubt, as all of the other bad reviews mentioned: predatory billing.

I had a great first experience with both, Anna and Dr. Ertl! Anna took the time to explain the exam/cleaning process thoroughly and even taught me a few really useful things! So happy I chose Laurelwood! Everyone, including the front desk staff, were so kind and helpful. I'm really grateful!
