Very poor experience with Hill Top. I contacted Hill Top regarding reclaimed oak boards to wrap some beams in our home build. They sent pictures, which looked great, and were immediately very communicative and nice to work with and suggested I see it in person. However, they said they were by appointment only but after trying to schedule an appointment for 24 days (without them offering a single time to meet but rather ignoring me or telling me they would let me know), they replied to a follow-up that they sold the product and became confrontational. I would strongly suggest finding an alternative for your reclaimed wood needs.

Steve at Hilltop Barn Wood is awesome and helpful!! He helped me find a walnut slab that I needed for a project. While there I saw a bunch of cool barn wood as well..will have to go back for my next project! Thanks for all you help Steve!

The people at Hilltop Barn are a pleasure to work with. They re-sawed a hundred year old 12x12 Oak beam into the 4x6 beams you see at the ceiling in the image. They also provided a Chestnut mantle cut from from an old, log cabin. They are kind, fair, easy to work with, do good work, and are on-time. I love that we have this awesome resource in Asheville! Thanks y'all!

The guys at Hill Top Barn Wood were excellent. The finished work speaks for itself — love the transformation of our living room! But the differentiator for me was the customer service and quality communication directly from the owner, Mike. The installers took time to let my children watch, ask questions, and even help clean up. Such a patient and professional crew.I definitely recommend Hill Top Barn Wood and their team!

I was looking for a beautiful piece of rustic Barnwood that I could use in my kitchen for open shelving. The guys at Hilltop worked with me each step of the way to help me make my vision come to life. They have a great selection of wood and they offered lots of advice on how to make the wood work best for my needs. I highly recommend Hilltop Barnwood!!! The staff was very friendly, the price was very reasonable, and the product and craftsmanship was FANTASTIC.

ROBIN LOPILATO - 12/17/2018In building my new home, I wanted something different in my kitchen. I decided on installing a triple window surrounded by reclaimed barn wood. Jared at Hill Top was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me pick just the right pieces which are quality in every way. The results are prefect! My builder was impressed and I have received many compliments. I would absolutely recommend Hill Top Barn Wood!

I contacted Hill Top Barn Wood Shop for what I thought was a unique request. I wanted reclaimed hardwood stair treads and risers for the steps in our new home. Jared was my main point of contact via phone and email throughout this whole process. He explained to me the benefits of Oak, Chestnut, and Pine. I decided that Oak was in my budget and was excited to see what Jared and the guys at Hill Top could whip up for me. Jared seemed just as enthusiastic as I was to see the project unfold. I have been amazed at the quality of service that the guys at Hill Top provided. From the very first phone call I have been happy with the response time, quality of work, and the flexibility that they offered. I will send photos of the stairs to Jared for their portfolio, so check out their website and social media to see the finished product. This floating vanity was made with some extra pieces that Hill Top included in my purchase and a board from my personal shed from the mid 1900s. THANK YOU HILL TOP BARN WOOD SHOP!
