The 80's T1-11 siding on our home needed to be replaced on the south side of the home. Woodpeckers had made several homes in the old wood, pulled the insulation out and, even though we tried to seal up the 3 inch holes, the woodpeckers would simply hollow out more holes. After calling a few \\\"contractors\\\" with no luck, I googled siding contractors and Jim's company appeared. Jim came over within a couple of days of my call, saw the problem, and gave us an estimate to remove the old T1-11, install new insulation, OSB, Tvbek and then apply hardiboard. The estimate included just the south side of the house and the entire house. We opted to install just on the south side of the house. Jim's crew were so professional and the hardiboard installation is beautiful. Wish we could have done the entire house. It really modernizes the look of the home. The crew showed up, cleaned up at the end of the day, including re-installing the downspouts each day. If you want a professional, easy experience with a clean and courteous crew, call Jim. I'm hoping to revise this review once I get an update or the job is completed, but I contacted Carolina Home Exterior for a window replacement to be done by mid-September. We were told this was the longer side of how long it should take, but we've heard nothing from them since mid-July. We've called and emailed with no response. When we call, the phone goes straight to voicemail without ringing and the voicemail box is full. I'm not sure what is going on and am leaving this review as a warning for others.

I hired Carolina Home Exterior to replace some siding on my house. Jim and his crew did a fantastic job. His quote was very competitive. Jim was knowledgeable about the products available and had the type of siding I wanted and color in stock so I did not have to wait for any crazy delivery times. His crew came in and knocked the whole job out in 3 days installing some vinyl board and batten. They did not play around. The siding looked great and was professionally installed. He also made some recommendations on some water management issues I was having and put in larger gutters with some leaf screens to better help with water run off . It did the trick. Not stressing about rain and my foundation anymore.

We live in an older house up in the mountains and there isn't a completely vertical or horizontal line on the exterior walls. Jim and his crew replaced the siding and did an amazing job lining everything up. They found rotted wood under a porch roof and not only replaced the wood but fixed the issue that caused the rot in the first place. The house now looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

They must not need business called and called. They said they would be out waited nothing .So I see as they dont need the work. They could at least call back to say they were busy. But oh well your loss.

They scheduled two appointments to do a quote for new siding and a roof on my home. Both times they failed to show up or even call.
