Melissa has been cutting our kiddo’s hair since he was a baby, and always does a spectacular job! She is patient, friendly, and able to handle wiggly, anxious little ones with smiles and encouragement. Highly recommended!

Jake really took the time to understand what I wanted and didn’t rush the cut at all. The attention to detail especially on the fade and lineup was on point.Pricing was fair for the quality, and the overall experience felt professional but still relaxed.Definitely planning to come back and would recommend him to anyone.

After moving to Asheville from NY, I was used to having barbershops everywhere—but ironically, I could never find a barber who listened to what I wanted. After many terrible haircuts, I gave up and just let my hair become a mop. This just changed with Jake at Black Sheep. As a fellow recent transplant, he completely understood what I was looking for and delivered exactly what I asked for. He’s clearly a master of his craft. If you’ve struggled to find a barber who actually listens, Jake is your guy. I’m looking forward to being a long-term client.
