This is my love letter to Sugar Tree and specifically Jennifer St Julian - they are not only a great conversationalist but an amazing curl stylist. Jennifer shared with me different ways to style my hair and which products are best for curls and waves.They made me feel comfortable and confident. Always amazing and extraordinary. Jennie is the most talented hair dresser. She makes you feel comfortable and important. You will leave the salon feeling beautiful. All the staff and hairdressers are friendly and accommodating. The salon itself has a cozy and chic atmosphere. This is the only salon I would recommend to anyone. You get what you pay for when it comes to hair care. At the Sugar Tree you get that and more. Whether for a blowout, trim, cut, or full highlights - they have the expertise to get the results you wish other salons could.

I have gone to Sugar Tree for cuts and colors quite a few times over the last few years, and I have always been incredibly happy with their work! I've gone to Jenny and Heather and highly recommend them both. I always love to get the stylist's take on what I want done (especially since I'm not always sure what I want, lol!) and they have handled that with grace and expertise. EDIT: the owner and the manager contacted me almost immediately after this and quickly fixed my problem in the best way possible.ORIGINAL: I’m a very nice person, I care about small business and supporting our community and I understand that people need that paycheck. I feel a need to share my experience here, mostly because I do want this place to just do better.It was generally unprofessional and a little bit scary. Before I went in, I called to asked that my hair stylist would be confident going from long to short. They said yes, and even when my stylist gave me an incredulous look after showing her the hair style I wanted, I trusted that. Her hands literally shook as she began to shop it extremely short (I wanted short, but holy cow she started me off with what can only be described as a hack job). Strangely she only cut one side of my head at a time, and it took her the time it took the next stylist over to cut two people’s just to do mine. I’m really polite and considerate, and she reassured me that the shaking was normal and that she’d never cut if she wasn’t confident—apparently, not true. I said don’t worry about it. All I can say now is that she’s lucky it was me. She was clumsy with the comb and scissors the entire time, getting way to close for comfort to my ears and face. Then suddenly, she pulled out a shaver and shaved the back of my neck! I had no time to say anything before she just dove in. Afterward she admitted she should have asked for advice, and it was just all so unprofessional and I left the salon with an entirely different haircut. I pay a ridiculous amount of money for the exact haircut I want—I could have just let my sister cut it in the bathroom if I wanted my hair to turn out differently than expected. Mostly I’m just baffled I wasn’t offered any sort of discount or just anything to make up for my disappointment, which I did make politely clear. I wasn’t rude in anyway, and so it just goes to show how this business did not really care about my satisfaction. Again, they’re just lucky it was me.

I went to Sugar Tree for my wedding hair, Pagona worked with me to schedule and Jenn did my hair for the big day. It was beautiful, perfect and exactly what I asked for. I felt at home and comfortable at the salon, Jenn was easy to talk to and had great energy. I also had an issue with my original vendor for my wedding makeup, and reached out to Pagona to see if Sugar Tree had any availability with their makeup artists. Even though their artists were not available, Pagona went above and beyond, and was able to find me someone to not only do my makeup, but all of my bridesmaids as well. I felt so taken care of, I can't suggest Sugar Tree enough!

Recently moved to area and was very nervous finding a hairstylist since I've gone to the same stylist for years. So happy to have found Heather. She is very thorough and did and excellent job on my hair color.

I got a hair cut for my Birthday with Heather and it was so great! Haircuts can often be awkward, and a tedious task but Heather and the women of Sugar Tree Hair Salon made me feel so comfortable, welcome, beautiful and like I was getting a hair cut from a friend! Heather was so good at what she does, she was expedient but consistent and I was over the moon with my haircut, and happy with my visit to the salon! Definitely coming back :)Services: Haircut
