I called their after hours emergency dental line. They were extremely helpful once they were able to get back to me. For this visit, I came in with an broken tooth with swelling of the face and tounge with live nerve exposed type of emergency. Unfortunately they are not in network for VA dental care even in an emergency. You have to pay 100% cost out of pocket cash on hand. If you don't have it, they will refuse service.
After 40 years with another dentist, I decided to give Sunset Dental a try, as it is much closer to my home and I have heard many good things about them. Happy to say, it was an excellent experience. They were all kind, caring, professional and made me feel at ease with all of the work that I had done, and that I will have done in the future. I do look forward to working with my new dentist in the future.
I scheduled an appointment for a check up and cleaning. During my appointment I had xrays and saw the dentist. He developed a treatment plan. I had to make another appointment for the cleaning. Disappointed in that since I'm driving from out if town. Just wish I would have been told about that when I originally called.
