I have been buying glasses from Ms. Davis for the past several years. Never have had one issue with my glasses (wish I could say that about the Optometrist Office) and the experience was not only thorough, but fun. Ms. Davis has a very pleasant personality, she is courteous, very engaging, and it is apparent, well educated in her field.They always say the customer is not an outsider in a business, butthey are part of it. I brought my prescription and bent frames to Jim and he had no problem straightening them out and getting my prescription in them! They're absolutely perfect!! “Though this place is small private clinic, the service is just as good as the bigger chain eye doctors (perhaps even better). Not that I've ever hated eye doctors, but the ones I had in Oklahoma were never the most friendly people. The second I walked into Memphis Optical, I knew I had an eye doctor for the rest of my college life. The staff were all really friendly, and the doctor had a good working knowledge of everything, and even told me some things that other eye doctors had neglected to mention in the past. The only thing I'm a little uncertain about it the price. The service was great, but after I got my new glasses and some contacts, it did seem a little over what I was used to paying. No biggy, though. I'd rather pay a little more and have my eyes looked after, than pay less and risk getting someone who doesn't know as much.“

“Brandon and his staff are GREAT. I didn't have an appointment but the Dr's office was able to work me in very quickly without much wait and went over my insurance with me pretty thoroughly. Got my glasses back quicker than expected HIGHLY RECOMMEND“

“Dr. Shackelford is the best. Been going to him since I was a teen. I’m 31 now. Leigh is exceptional at what she does. I love her so much. Always super helpful and always helps me pick out the cutest glasses. All the girls are great, but she stands out. Always have. Dr. Shackelford is blessed to have her!!!! She makes sure everyone is taken care of. Never rushes the patients after being seen and getting their glasses and contacts. Gives all options available.
