Desoto Community Health Center offers a positive experience for patients. The front staff and nurses are described as good, friendly, and professional. While the wait time can be long, the overall service and care provided is highly recommended, especially for those without insurance or a primary care physician.
I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. I had Dr. Francesca Wilkins as my provider. After waiting in the exam room for about 30 plus minutes, the doctor came in and told me she could complete my physical, but because the system was down, I would have to come back another day to receive the paperwork. After waiting that long, I was frustrated, but I remained respectful.
The doctor repeatedly told me she would not sign my employer’s form because she felt the wording was too vague. I understood her concern, so I called my employer and had them speak with her directly. Even after speaking with my employer, she stated she would not sign the form...read full review
Doctors took great care. Some of the front desk staff could be more caring and patient when providinh service to the sick. Some should be mindful of their tone and word choice. Especially, since patients are already not feeling well.
The folks here were wonderful! They were very efficient (without making me feel rushed), kind, and put me at easy. Truly exceptional from check-in to check-out, and each step in-between.
